What we collect

When you use MyUncleJoe we may collect your email address and name if you create an account, vehicle information you enter (year, make, model, mileage), repair order line items you submit, and usage information such as which shops you search for.

What we do not collect

We do not store your repair order photos. They are deleted from our servers immediately after Uncle Joe reads them. We do not store raw OCR text beyond 24 hours. We do not sell your data to anyone. We do not share your personal information with shops or dealerships. We do not run advertising on this site.

Shop intelligence data

When your estimate contributes to a shop's profile, all personal identifying information is removed. Shop grades and scores are built entirely from anonymous aggregate data. No one looking at a shop profile can identify which estimates came from you.

Cookies and sessions

We use a session cookie to keep you logged in and to link your estimate to your account after you sign up. We do not use third-party tracking cookies.

Payment data

All payment processing is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Stripe's privacy policy governs payment data.
